Piate kolo FA Cup-u prinieslo jednoznačné výhry Manchesteru City, Evertonu, Chelsea a Tottenhamu. V drese Citizens vynikol mladučký útočník Kelechi Iheanacho, ktorý tri góly vsietil a na jeden asistoval Sterlingovi. Hetrikom sa zaskvel aj Oscar z Chelsea.Do ďalšieho kola postúpili aj Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth a Watford. Sršne na ihrisku Nottinghamu zvíťazili až gólom Ighala v 89. minúte zápasu. West Ham a Liverpool sa rozišli bezgólovou remízou a zápas si zopakujú na Upton Parku.
